This is the first Teresa Wentlzer design I bought. I had been wanting one for awhile, but never saw a kit in a store until one day at Micheals. It also happened that I had a 50% off coupon so I got the kit for only $11.

I bought this 5 years ago or so, collectively I’ve probably worked on this for about a year. It is incredibly detailed – more so than the picture suggests. It’s turning out beautiful though. Lol its almost worth the pain and sweat and tears and blood that has gone into it.
i have finally opened this kit to try to make it for my mother and i cannot even begin. i don’t understand how to get the threads organized. they are strung through four different cards labeled a-d, each of which has two rows of holes labeled 1-12. none of the dmc numbers are used, no color names are used. the chart given does not number the holes in the same fashion and i can’t even find a starting place to line up the two. i’m completely lost! and then i have a few questions about the directions it gives about crossing stitches with white… what exactly does that mean?? dear lord help me!!!
